BVP University Engineering CET 2012
Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune is one universities known for quality education in India. The university offers different academic programs for the different aspirants including medical, engineering and technology, Law, arts and science, commerce etc. The intake of students is purely based on the entrance test known as Bharati Vidyapeeth University common entrance test (BVP University CET). For each program there will be different test and the BVP University CET (Engineering) is a popular exam in India for the engineering aspirants.
Structure of BVP University CET
The question paper of CET Engineering follows the MCQ format with different choices. The question paper is divided into two sessions with 100 questions each.
Physics: 100 questions
Mathematics: 100 questions
The duration of the examination is 150 minutes and there won’t be any negative marking for the incorrect response. The medium of the examination is English only.

Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualification required is higher secondary or equivalent from the recognized board under the science stream. They must study English, Physics and Mathematics compulsorily with any of the optional topics like biology, Computer science, Chemistry or Bio technology. They must have al least 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics individually and taken together will all other subjects. There will be 5% relaxation for the reservation category. The minimum age limit is 17 years and the final year students can also take this exam.
How to Apply?
The candidates can apply for the examination either by online or by offline mode. The candidates can purchase the form from the university admission office and can get it also by post by sending the application for the form to the university office. The student can also obtain the form from the official web portal of the university and can register through the online mode. The cost of the application form is Rs.1600/-.
How to fill the Form?
The candidates must go through the brochure obtained with the application form and understand the eligibility requirements. The information given should be correct as per the certified documents. Do not pin the recent photo on the suggested space, only paste it using gum. The photo should be attested by the Gazetted officer. The parent as well as the candidates needs to put their signature on the required columns. The filled form with the needed attachment should arrive at the office before the announced date.

Study Plan
The candidates can make their own study plan for preparing for the examination. The student should cover the complete syllabus for examination and do not ignore any single topic. They can make use of their text books in plus two streams or can refer the books from the famous authors and publishers for the exam purpose. You can join a coaching center or can practice with the previous year paper for knowing the nature of the examination.
How and Where To Get the Results?
The result of the BVP CET will be available in the university admission office or from the selected centers of the uni9versity at Navi Mumbai and New Delhi. It is also displayed in the University and in the Engineering college website.
Score Validity
The score of the entrance examination will applicable for one year and is used for the admission program of the colleges under the BVP University.

Who has to attest the photograph —Can a Gazetted Officer attest the Photograph or not?
As per pare 6.3 of Prospectus either Principal or Gazetted Officer can attest, but as per the printout of the on line application form only Principal has to atest.
