B.Tech/ M.Tech holders in subjects like CSE, ECE, ICE, or EEE with a consistent score of 70% marks can apply. Selection process starts with the short listing of candidates on the basis of their marks/CGPA. Short listed candidates are subjected for written test and interview to check whether the candidate suits for the job profile.

Eligibility Criteria for Campus Placement in Yahoo

Aspirants applying for campus placement must be free of backlogs and must have a consistent score of 70% marks. More precisely, eligible candidates should have at least 70% marks from 10th till graduation or post graduation. Candidates should have strong verbal and written skills.

On campus as well as off campus selections are conducted for recruitment. Candidates should reach the venue with insisted documents proving their eligibility. 

Campus Selection Procedure in Yahoo

Selection process starts with the short listing of candidates on the basis of their marks/CGPA. From the pool of applications received, candidates are short listed on the priority basis of marks.

Next stage of selection process is the written test. Technical as well as aptitude related questions are asked for the test. The section of aptitude comprises questions from topics such as Clocks, Calendars, Cubes, Figure Series, Puzzles, Races, & Games. C, C++, Object oriented concepts; DBMS, Operating Systems, etc are asked in technical paper. Sound knowledge in database environment (at least one), database schema design, Internet Application architectures and Protocols are preferred.

Those who have cleared with the written test can move to the final stage of selection process, ie the interview. This session comprise questions on HR and technical topics. In HR interview, candidates can expect questions on why they select Yahoo, ‘what they know about Yahoo’, their future prospects, and so on. Project related topics, simple questions on technical aspects, etc are asked under technical interview. Candidates, who can score adequate marks in all stages of selection process, will be selected and given with offer letter.
