We are living in a fast pace world where the only permanent thing is change. The fashion and trends are changing within no time so is the lifestyle and demand of human beings. In every aspects of life we can experience this alteration. Since education and career has a major role in the success of the human life, it is important to observe the changes happening in these sectors.

Today the major decision taken by an individual is probably his/her selection of higher courses or their career path. Their entire life is depending on this decision and people are giving so much time, effort andattention to take such a decision. There is a common belief among them that they are capable enough to make a decision on their own and bold enough to meet the consequences of their choices. But when we observe these decisions we can see the influence of the external changes and the effect of the group demands. In the beginning of the millennium everybody was running behind the software and IT sector and most of the decision making was around these sectors. As the time went the hangover of IT got reduced and the recession left a shock in the life of white collar job seekers. Now we are seeing many more job sectors booming in this competitive world and becoming the hot spots for the aspirants. Here follows some of such job areas and the needed skills for the candidates who wish for a career in those areas.

India is known for its abundance in festivals, we don’t have calendar months which don’t have a festival. When the MNCs and business world made its deep root in India, events just got bigger. Each day a lot ofparties, corporate events, cultural fests, seminars etc. are being conducted in different parts of the country. This is the new opportunity for the keen observing corporate world. Thus the Event Management agencies and companies emerged in the Indian economy and added a new sector in the job market. Today Event Management is one of the top most career paths for the creative and effective managerial people.

To become an event manager the candidates need not have to satisfy a long list of criteria. There is no requirement on the qualification need to become successful event manager. There are many institutes all over the country helping the student to make a successful career path in this sector. The essential skills identified to become a successful event manager is the potential in delegating quality works, controlling and monitoring the minutest of the activities, identifying the opportunities to make things perfect etc.  The person should be committed towards his work and never poses a negative attitude towards sweating.

Making things Perfect

Though there is a saying that nothing is perfect and you have to learn to see the things beyond the imperfections, this is not relevant for a group of creative people.  They are the so called Architecture or the interior designers. A huge opportunity now exists for the professionals in this sector. The modern world does care of the interior world and want to see thing in the perfect mode. This show off world needs something for boasting and so the people are making their homes, office and their environment more attractive to others. The world looks for the expert people who are specialized in interior designing so as to add fashion, appearance and also giving a friendly atmosphere to their infrastructure.

If you are a creative person with fervent designer inside you, you will have a wonderful career path in these areas. One can work in private firms or in a Government or can work as a freelancer. To work as a interior designer you don’t need to pursue a degree, but it is advisable to take a course in the designing. There are number of institutes in our country helping the prospective interior designers with various diploma or other courses in this field. After completing your course have some valid experience by working with some firms in the field and then you can start your individual work.

Transportation industry is at the peak point in our country not only by the road and rail but also the aviation world. Today the people opting of the airline mode for transportation has increased drastically. One reason behind this is the globalization and now people have to travel across different nations and places more frequently. As the number of travelers increased more and more private operators are also coming to play their part in the aviation sector.  Sahara, Jet Airways, Kingfisher, Emirates are some of those players. The surveys show that the industry will continue its growth stage for the coming decades, despite the aviation fuel is on the record price. Hence here we need the professional pilots, which one of the most desired factors in this sector.

Becoming a Pilot is not only a status job in present time; it offers you a lucrative pay package and a chance to see the world. The pilot tag offers you one of the most glamorous job titles and makes your challenging and adventure attitude as young as your mind. But being a pilot is not a easy job and the expense part of pursuing a course is not cheap also. For six to eight months course you may have to pay around 20 to 30 lakhs. But you have to remember, nothing comes free.

If you are interested to make your dream to fly, the aviation pilot is one of the ways to have the dream. There are some requirements like you should pass your plus two with minimum 60% aggregate, should meet the physical requirements etc. Then you can join to the aviation schools to have your training in flying and register yourself as a qualified pilot. There are many reputed institutes in our country to help the student to achieve their dreams in this area.

Some other demanding job areas include the Chartered accountant for the accounting wizards, the civil service domain, the top most on in the Government sector etc. These are the upcoming job areas which offer not only the growth and career development but also the social status and security.  Though the Engineering and medical professions still holds its control over the young minds, the above mentioned course are making its strong impact on the job market. After all what will we do only with doctors and Engineers…?

    Well i am agree with the author… even today, when students are available with lots of options, medicine and engineering are the two fields that comes into the mind first… I m learning Fashion Designing from IMS DIA, Noida and i m very much sure about my career choice…
