High Court of Gujarat has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up approximately 137 regular vacancies and 369 ad-hoc vacancies in the cadre of civil judges.

Name of the Position: Civil Judges

Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 506, which is divided as follows:

• Regular Vacancies – 137 (General-69, SC-10, ST-21 and Socially & educationally backward classes – 37)

• Ad hoc Vacancies – 369 (General-188, SC-26, ST-55 and Socially & educationally backward classes – 100)

Remuneration: Candidates appointed for the position of Civil Judges will get a pay scale of Rs.27700-44850/-

Eligibility Details:

Educational qualification & Experience:

Candidates must be degree holders in the faculty of law from a recognized university and they must be practicing as an advocate in courts of criminal/civil jurisdiction as on the last date to submission of online applications. Otherwise, candidates must have worked in courts or related department for at least five years and must possess special degree in law from a recognized university in India.
