Civil Services Mechanical Engineering Papers
The civil services exam is held every year by the Union Public Services Commission. This exam is one of the most difficult exams of the country as this is meant for some of the most prestigious posts in administration. The candidates are required o sit for a preliminary test and they have the liberty of choose from a host of subjects, mechanical engineering being one of the subjects. Candidates who clear the prelims can take the main exam. The details of the mechanical engineering paper are given below:
The mechanical engineering prelims exam is of duration of 3 hours and carries a total of 300 marks. There are 120 questions in the paper. The questions are objective types. Each question is of equal marks. The questions cover full syllabus. All the questions are given in English as well as Hindi. Out of the four options only one is correct. Negative marking is also there so students are advised not to attempt the questions which they are not sure of. Multiple answers are treated wrong, so avoid marking more than one answer. The questions which are not answered are not treated as wrong answers. The syllabus covers the standard undergraduate syllabus of the subject Mechanical Engineering.

i m preparing for ias and looking for previous years ias mechanical engg obvective ques paper pls give ur suitable guideline
respected sir, i am in 5th sem mechanical engg and i am intrested in ias but problem is that we take mechanical engg as optional and related to that subject nothing is avaliable in the market .For instance, previous years solved question papers ,best study material,books,notes,mock test papers and website ,so that fetch marks near about 450 out of 600(without coaching).so,please help me
