Admission Process for Under Graduate Courses in UTU

Those who have completed 10 + 2 from any of the recognized university with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects can apply for B.Tech programs. Such candidates must have studied the course with any of the following as optional subjects.

• Biology
• Bio-Technology
• Chemistry
• Computer Science

Required qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 45% marks. Qualified candidates can have admission on the basis of AIEEE score.

HSC passed candidates or diploma holders who have studied mathematics as a subject and have obtained a minimum of 50% marks can apply for Bachelor of Architecture program. Admission in this case is also done on the basis of AIEEE score.

Admission to B.Pharma course is done on the basis of UTU entrance exam. Candidates having studied 10 + 2 from any of the recognized university with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any of the following as optional subjects can apply.

Admission Process for Post Graduate Courses in UTU

GATE qualified or UTU entrance qualified candidates can apply for M.Tech programs. Those students must have completed B.Tech course in the relevant subject with a minimum of 60% marks.

Pass in B.Pharma from any of the AICTE/UGC recognized institution with at least 60% marks is the qualification required for M. Pharm degree. Admission will be offered according to GPAT (first preference) or UTU entrance test score.

Graduates have the opportunity to apply for MBA or MCA courses. For MCA, applicant must have studied mathematics as a subject either at 12th or graduation. Admission is made through national level entrance test like CAT, MAT, AIMCET or UTU entrance exams.
