Institute of Seismological Research came into existence on August 27, 2003 under the Government of India. The institute was established by Science and Technology Department, Government of Gujarat. It is a registered society. Chief Minister of Gujarat state is the chairman of the governing council of the society. The institute comes under the Scoeities Registration Act. An executive committee has been organized for the supervision of the institute’s activities.

Educational Qualification: M.Tech in Geophysics/Geoplogy/Physics is required.

4. Recruitment of Scientist-B:

Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 32 years.
Educational Qualification: M.Tech in Geophysics/Geoplogy/Physics is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
