The EMACET is an entrance exam conducted for admission in various technical and professional courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It involves a ticket to the field of engineering, agriculture and medicine. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University conducts these exams. The EMACET has a total duration of 3 hours in which a student is expected to answer160 questions. These questions are divided into three subjects namely, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The Math paper carries 80 marks whilst the other two carry 40 marks each. All the questions appearing in the paper will be objective type questions with multiple choices. Each question carries one mark.

Since the physics paper is only 40 marks, the syllabus mainly comprises of topics such as elements of vectors, units and dimensions, kinematics dynamics, gravitation, elasticity, hydrodynamics, thermodynamics, atomic physics, sound, general physics, etc. Most of these topics have been covered in the syllabus of preceding years of study in the subject. The exam is not a very difficult one if you have your concepts in place. The important factor in these exams is the speed. The time allotment has to be very adequate. There is a lot of practice material available on the internet.
