Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for filling up the posts of Electrician (Trainee) and Steno Typist (Trainee) in SJVN Limited. Candidates should meet with all the eligibility conditions set for both the posts in SJVN Limited.

Eligibility:

The upper age limit set for the post of Electrician (Trainee) in SJVN Limited is 30 years as on closing date of application. For the post of Stenotypist (Trainee), the maximum age limit set is 29 years. Candidates already engaged in the company as contract labour will get relaxation of few years in the upper age limit for both the posts.

Educational Qualification:

Electrician (Trainee): ITI qualified candidates in Electrician discipline are eligible for applying on this post.

Steno Typist (Trainee): Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university with certificate in Stenography from any recognized institute is required for this post. Candidates are required to have a typing speed of 80/40 words per minute in English or Hindi.

Electrician (Trainee): Only 8 posts are available.
Steno Typist (Trainee): Only 15 posts are avilable.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 5000-9580 per month.

Application Fee:

A Demand Draft of Rs. 50 is need to be submitted as application fee by the General and OBC category candidates. SC/ST and PH category candidates are exempted from paying any kind of application fee. The demand draft should drawn in favour of SJVN Limited payable at Shimla.

Selection Process:

Eligible candidates are required to undergo a written test followed by by a interview test. The written test will contain the questions of objective type. Candidates applying for the post of Steno Typists will have to undergo a typing test on computers.
