Profile:
Rajasthan Commercial Taxes Department was established under the Government of India. It is initially named as Excise & Taxation Department. But later on, the State Excise Department was seperated and the department was reamed as Commercial Taxes Department. The department also holds the responsibility of administrating the Rajasthan Tax on Entry of Motor Vehiclas into local areas act and the Rajasthan Value Added Tax. Rajasthan Commercial Taxes Department is considered as the major contributor to the Tax revenue collected by the STate Government.
Job Profile:
Rajasthan Commercial Taxes Department is recruiting eligible and qualified candidates on the post of Tax Assistant. Candidates will have to serve the Rajasthan Commercial Taxes Department which is located in pink city ‘Jaipur’.
Eligibility:
Minimum age limit set for the post is 18 years as on 1 January 2011.
Maximum age limit set for the post is 35 years as on 1 January 2011.
SC/ST/Bc category candidates, who are also domicile of Rajasthan will get reservation of 5 years in age as per Government of India rules. Women candidates will also get 5 years relaxation in age as per rules of Government of India.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have done graduation in Computer Application or Computer Science for applying on the specified post of Tax Assistant in Rajasthan Commercial Taxes Department. Candidates with Post Polytechnic Diploma in COmputer application or 3 years Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering, can also apply for the respective post.
No. of posts: There are 443 posts available in total.
(223 posts are for General candidates, 70 for SC and 53 posts for ST category candidates)
Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid salary under Pay Band-1 i.e. Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.
Application Fee:
Rs. 250 is the amount of application fee that is need to be paid by the General candidates. Rs. 150 is the amount of application fee for OBC candidates of Rajasthan. Only Rs. 50 is the amount of application fee for SC and ST candidates of Rajasthan. The application fee is need to be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited payable at Jaipur.
Selection Process:
Rajasthan Commercial Taxes Department will conduct a competitive written examination and then a personal interview test for making selection of the eligible candidates. Only Shortlisted candidates will be sit in the written test. And only qualified candidates of this written test will be allowed to face the personal interview test.
How to apply: Application must be made online by the candidates. Candidates should apply at the website of Rajasthan Commercial Tax Department before 22 February 2011. Candidates are also required to send the printout of the complete application form alongwith relevant documents and application fee to the following address:

Sir,
I wanna complain about irregularaty in fill the incometax bt no one careful for this.
Shree krishna samarpanm Asharm at jodhpur in Rajasthan here is going to smething wrong.
Sant of this aasharm having lot of property, money, costly equipments, nd accesiries etc.
They r not paying any incometax.

But till date I have not received any email or any admit card for the written examination will be proposed on 17th April, 2011 so I could not be enter the same examination so Please arrange the admit card for the same as soon as possible.
