Centre profile: It was established in the year 1986 in the city of Pune. It provides training, research facilities and teaching in cell lines and hybridomas etc. It is also dealing in the areas like cancer biology, cell biology, immunology, genomics and proteomics. It is a premier centre and has excellent research facilities and technologies.

Job profile: The engineer and the officers will be required to work on the project named “Establishment of Microbial Culture Collection”. They will be responsible for execution of various project activities and also for supporting their seniors and finishing the project on time.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 50 years for the post of an engineer, 45 years for the post of an officer ‘C’ and 35 years for the post of an officer ‘A’. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: For an Engineer – A candidate must have a degree in mechanical/civil/electrical engineering with a minimum experience of 15 years OR a diploma with a minimum experience of 20 years. For an Officer ‘C’– A candidate must be a graduate or must have a post graduate diploma in management with a training/course in secretarial work with a minimum experience of 5 years in the pay scale Rs8000-13500 or 8 years in the pay scale Rs6500-10500. For an Officer ‘A’ – A candidate must be a graduate or must have a post graduate diploma in management with a minimum experience of 3 years.

No. of posts: There are 4 posts in total which include 1 post for the engineer, 1 for the officer ‘C’ and 2 for the officer ‘A’.

Pay scale: The pay scale for an engineer will be Rs12000-16500, for an officer ‘C’ it will be Rs10000-15200 and for an officer ‘A’ it will be Rs6500-10500.

Selection process: The short listed candidates will be called for interview.
