National Centre for Radio Astrophysics is located at Pune University campus. The centre is affiliated to Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and mainly aims to carries out research activities in the specialized field of Radio Astronomy and Radio Instrumentation. The centre has also set the largest telescope of the world named Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope. Mr. Swarnakanti Ghosh is the present Director of the centre. The research institute is consist of total 30 fully steerable dishes. The centre also provide training to students at various levels.

Job Profile:

National Centre for Radio Astrophysics is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified candidates on the following vacant positions of Engineer-C and Graduate Trainee (Engineer). The posts of Engineer-C is available in the disciplines of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Software Engineering. Candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility for the post before applying for it.

1. Recruitment of Engineer-C (Electrical):

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have done B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates should also possess minimum 2 years experience in relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of Engineer-C (Electronics):

Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12000 per month.
