Field Investigators - National sample Survey Office (NSSO)
The National Sample Survey (NSS) that was established in 1950 was reorganized in March 1970 under a single Government organization called National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO). The organization works under the whole direction of Governing Council to impart autonomy and objectivity in matters pertaining to the publication, processing and collection of the National Sample Survey data.
The organization holds the pride of being one among the largest organizations in India involved in regular socio-economic surveys. The organizations has four divisions namely Co-ordination and publication division, data processing division, field operations divisions and survey design and research division. Each division of the NSSO has specific roles related to collection, processing and publication of the National Sample Survey data.
Job Profile:
National sample Survey Office (NSSO) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Field Investigators on contract basis.
No. of posts: 1300
Pay Scale – Consolidated pay of Rs. 15000 per month.
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years. (Relaxable as per rules).
Educational Qualification – The candidates must have done graduate degree with statistics, Mathematics or Economics as one of the subjects. They must have fluency in English language. They must have good knowledge in MS office or other computer applications. Selection Process:
The selection for the posts is through written test/ computer application test/ interview.

i am mukhar bhardwaj,i am Science graduate and my D.O.B. is 1-09-1992 so 1 month is less to cross 20 as it said that the person who complete 20 years on August of this can apply for this job.
