The Indian Ordnance Factories organisation was established under the Government of India. The organisation has a strength of 40 Ordnance Factories. The organisation comes under the aegis of its corporate headquarters Ordnance Factory Board located at Kolkata. The Indian Ordnance Factories organisation is engaged in the production, testing, logistics, research, development and marketing of a comprehensive product range in the area of land, sea and air systems.
Job Profile:
Candidates can apply for the posts of Fireman in Indian Ordnance Factories.
Eligibility:
The minimum age limit set for the post is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 25 years. Relaxation is there for the reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation is the minimum educational qualification required for the posts of Fireman in Indian Ordnance Factories.

Pay Scale: Selected canddiates will get the salary of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination containing a general intelligence objective type test. Medical Standards of candidates will also play an important part at the time of final selection. \
