Yes, you are eligible for AIEEE exam.

If you have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks then you are eligible for AIEEE exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

Yes, you are certainly eligible to appear for AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination). Generally Diploma candidates get admitted into Direct 2nd year of B.E/ B.Tech. But through AIEEE Examination, you will be admitted to "First year of Engineering" B.E/ B.Tech. The basic educational qualification required is "12th class" or Diploma qualification from a recognized university. Since you have completed Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering, you are surely eligible to appear for AIEEE Examination. You can directly apply for AIEEE Examination, having Diploma as an Educational Qualification. You must have secured minimum 50% marks in 12th class or Diploma to be eligible for AIEEE Examination.
