Hello Sir,
i am a graduate(B.Tech) in metallurgical engineering above 60%.
Can i Apply for ONGC GT-2012? If yes, please tell under which post/branch.

After graduation, technical positions will be apt in ONGC. The company website publishes job notifications. At least a 60% mark in B.Tech is essential so as to apply in this company. Assistant engineer, Project engineer etc will be some of the designations which you can apply for. It requires a written exam to be attended so as to get selection. GD and P.I will the last selection process involved in.

I am pursuing B. Tech 3rd year from Metallugical and Materials Engineering. I want to apply for ONGC. What is the process for applying it and how the selection process will be done. Please tell me the proccess.

Yes,you will be eligible to apply for ONGC Recruitment Exam as per your given educational qualification.You will require to meet these Eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :-

• Your Engineering degree should be issued from the recognized university.
• Your degree should be approved from the AICTE.
• You must have a score card of GATE Exam for the year 2012-13.

Marks :-

• Your minimum CGPA in Engineering should be at least 6.5 .
• Your score in GATE exam should be between above 180.

Age :-

• Your minimum age should be 21 years.
• Your age should not be above 35 years.

Details of Job :-

• Assistant Cum Supervisor.
• Grade N3.
• Total number of Vacancies - 9.
• Salary - Rs 15,500 to Rs 24,600.
• Grade Pay - Rs 4800 .

Entrance Exam Syllabus :-

• Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning.
• General Awareness.
• English Grammar.
• Engineering section - 50 questions from your subjects related topics.
