Can I apply for NDA after Diploma in ECE rather 12th?
Can i apply for NDA ? I am 18 years old
I am pursuing my diploma in "ECE"After 10th I have passed 10th in 2009 marks in 10th- 75% marks in diploma- 67% upto 4th sem |

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy.The entrance for this academy is codnucted by Union Public Service Commission twice every year.The eligibility criteria for NDA is as follows:
>>You must have passed your 10+2 from a recognized board or appearing for it.For Army you need to have equivalent of 10+2.For Air Force and Indian Navy, mathematics and physics at 10+2 level is necessary. So, being a diploma holder, you can go for the NDA exams but clearing the written and Service selection board, you can join Indian Army only. >>The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years for candidates of every category. >>You must be unmarried male Indian citizen. No, Diploma students are not eligible to appear for the NDA exam. Only the candidates who have completed their 12th or equivalent from a recognised board are eligible to appear for the NDA exam.
The following is the eligibility criteria required to appear for the NDA exam :- 1.You must be a citizen of India. 2.You must have completed 12th or equivalent from a recognised board. 3.You must be in between 16 1/2 to 19 years old. Age relaxation is not applicable for reserved category candidates to appear for the NDA exam. 4.You must be an Unmarried Male candidate. |
