Respected Sir,
I have completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
which I take admission after 10th.
Now I want to do Graduation in Hotel Management.
Please tell me am I eligible to do Graduation in HM?

For getting admission in a Degree in Hotel Management course you must have 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board of education or Institute. Admission is mostly based on the entrance exam which is usually conducted by the State Technical Council. There is a national level entrance exam also for admission in Degree in Hotel Management which is conducted by IGNOU and PUSA, New Delhi. You can surely apply for these entrance exams. Admission is purely based on merit and if you have excellent rank then you will get admission in a decent college.

I am extremely sorry to state that you cannot study undergraduate course in Hotel Management after completing diploma course in Mechanical Engineering after 10th. You cannot get admission in undergraduate course on the basis of 10th standard. This is because the eligibility criteria to get admission in undergraduate course of Hotel Management is - You should have passed 12th standard or should have pursued diploma in Hotel Management or related fields. Hence you are not eligible for undergraduate course. The best option would be to go for diploma course in Hotel Management and then pursue undergraduate course in Hotel Management to be a graduate in this field.
