Hi,
My name is Sarun and I am doing job in a private firm. I want to do Polytechnic Diploma course in Architecture. I have passed 10th standard & ITI in Architectural Assistant NCVT. My question is, can I do any part time Polytechnic Diploma course without attend any class?

Sorry, the Diploma in Architecture course is not available in India in distance mode. You can find the course in some of the institutions, but not come under UGC and AICTE like Neptune Institute of Management & Technology. So you have to study the course in the regular class only. Being the ITI holder you can opt for lateral entry in Diploma i.e. admitting to the 2nd year of the diploma course.

Definitely you can do diploma course without attending your classes. You can pursue your diploma in architecture through distance education. Some of the good institutes for pursuing diploma through distance are IGNOU, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Indian Institute of Open and Distance Learning-Delhi, Tamil Nadu Open University etc. As per your statement you fulfill the whole eligibility criteria for doing diploma through distance education.

It will be difficult to pursue a polytechnic diploma from a recognized institute without attending class being a technical course. AICTE approves such courses and attendance is very important.

There might be some distance mode diploma available but most of the companies and government jobs don't consider them.

I am happy to say you that definitely you can study part time Diploma in Architecture without attending the classes being an ITI holder. Some of the Universities provide part time Diploma classes in Architecture, you may take admission under any of them.
