I have done three year Diploma in commercial practice course (New) in year 1996 to 1998, after that I had taken admission in S.Y B.com, and then I have completed my B.com, Now I want to go for further study in Canada, they want written note that Diploma in commercial practice is equivalent to F.Y B.com, Please help me, what should I provide for the same.

If you have got the degree from a UGC recognized university, then there shouldn't be any issue because you have got admission through lateral entry based on the university guidelines.

You can get the written note from either UGC or from the institute from where you got the given qualification.

This is an issue faced by everyone who wish to go abroad. To clarify your point you need to submit 3 documents.

1. The Diploma completion certificate from university
2. The equivalency certificate or note from university
3. The prospectus of lateral entry exam

Along with this you should attach your B.Com. completed certificate.
