What will be the time period to complete the B.Tech for diploma holders and what is the minimum obtained marks in diploma to apply this application form?

Diploma is of three year duration i.e 10+3 year course so, you will be eligible to get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech directly after diploma through LEET examination.

To appear in LEET examination it is required to have minimum 60% aggregate in diploma from a recognised university. The examination is conducted by various state and private university.

After completion of your Diploma if you wish to get admission in B.Tech course, you are very much eligible for it but you will have to appear for an entrance examination called JELET and get admission in B.Tech.

You sill get admission directly in 2nd year of your B.Tech, therefore, you will be have to study only for 3 years in your B.Tech. You should have scored a minimum of 60% in your Diploma.

The duration of B.Tech course for candidates who have completed Diploma course is 3 years. Candidates who have completed three years Diploma course can get direct admission in second year of four years B.E/B.Tech course through Lateral entry admission process. To get admission in B.E/B.Tech course, you must have to appear in Lateral entry examinations like LEET/ECET/JELET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state entrance examinations board. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in second year of four years B.E/B.Tech course.
