sir i m the student of polytechnic 6th sem c.s after 2months i will completing my diploma......i want to continue my further studies n i m not able choose the course so please can u help me choose......one more que is, is it possible to b-tech after diploma........If yes the can u tell me what is the duration of it? Please reply as soon as possible...............................

On basis of your diploma marks(depends on pattern....final for annual or average for semester) apply for admission in colleges.Every state has a CAP(common admission procedure).
You need to enroll in dat and on basis of ur marks u will get admission in any college.Depending on ur state u may also apply for individual colleges.Visit www.edunewz.com for news on cap procedure after exams.....................

Yes ofcourse you can do Btech. There is a scheme called lateral entry where Diploma canditates are absorbed into BE/Btech directly into 2nd year. But they do have to complete some added coureses related to their (supposedly) first year. Eventually the total duartion will be 3 years for completion of BE/Btech for diplaoma candidates, since they join directly into the 2nd year.

i can also take addmission in ip university after diploma & name the test for it

i can also take addmission in AMITY university after diploma

yes it possible and duration of 3 year if that is dlm or regular basis but if part time than duration 4 year

Yes namrata u can do..the b-tech is possible after diploma either correspondency orregurerly u can do,the duration is 3years for all..go engg its good!all the best

First of all I would like to advice you that no one college offer B. Tech after
diploma in any discipline. You are perusing Diploma and after this course you
can take the admission only in B. E. with proper counseling concerned
college's Board/university..........

1.Computer science and engg.
2.Information and technology
3.mechanical engg.

6.Electrical and electronics engg.

In order to get admission to degree courses you will have to answer entrance tests like LEET or you state exam after which you will be admitted to direct second year.

yes you can do b tech. after diploma. its duration will be 2 years if you have done diploma after 12th class. to do this you have to fill the form of leet which is out now.so hurry up & best of luck

i have a question:
i am currently in second year diploma (Automobile Engg) and i have another year to complete this 3 year course. Im studying in karnataka in a govt recognized polytechnic.
i wish to pursue my BE in Mumbai next in any course(Mech/E&C etc)
my question is: would these engg colleges in Mumbai offer management seats? and if i have to get one will i have to answer a test for that too? because i cant be depending on the ranks of the entrance exams and that too for an All india entrance exam in order to pinpoint Mumbai engg colleges..
i am willing to enter 2nd year via management seats.
Does anybody here have any idea about it?

Yes you can go for B.tech after completing your diploma degree course. It will be based on a common entrance exam. Basing on your rank in your exam your seat in good college will be decided. As you are a diploma holder in computer science it is better to go for B.tech Computer science only than selecting any other field because you will have a good exposure to all your subjects before. Your course duration will be 3 years i.e., you will be directly entered in to 2nd year instead of starting it from 1 st year. SO your course duration will be 3 years. Hope you got your answer.

jlet exam is for west bengal lateral test for you to join 2nd year in engg. directly.

definately it is possiable to do btech after diploma.through entrance exam you are allow to enter directly 2nd year in the b.tech.for getting the chance in btech you have to qualify JELET exam.

you can also do AMIE course.which is correspondance course but equivalent to btech...
