i am mahadev reddy i am studying in third year diploma in cvil Engineering, In Maharashtra, India. And i want admission in B. tech civil in IIT bombay.What is the procedure to get admission after completion of my diploma and how much score do I need to get in final semester.If any entrance exam pls mention it. Thank you

Procedure to get admission in IIT collage after Diploma in civil engineering.

IIT conducted JEE entrance exam for admissions in IIT for B.Tech.

Eligibility for JEE:
-- 10+2 with PCM
-- Minimum 19 years age required
-- No any backlog

But IIT doesn't offers lateral entry admission & diploma is not equivalent to 10+2. So you are not eligible for IIT.

Sorry but only 10th science passed students can join IIT by appearing for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) exam. And there is no space for diploma holders in JEE, so branch of engineering doesn't matters.

Also IIT doesn't gives admission for lateral entry and 10+2 isn't equivalent to diploma. Hence you can not join IIT

I'm studying in second year of chemical engineering (diploma). Can i take admission to btech in chemical engineering to IIT?
And what is the process for taking admission to IIT?
