Respected Sir, I am preparing for BTech entrance exams so that I can study BTech in near future. I am a girl candidate and I want to apply an education loan in Andhra Bank as I have an account in this bank. So, I would like to know that is concession available?

Yes, the 0.50% concession on rate of interest is applicable for girl candidates under Andhra Bank Education Loan Scheme. The interest rates of Andhra Bank Education Loan are mentioned below :-

--> Upto Rs. 7.5 lakhs :- Base Rate + 2.75%
--> Above Rs. 7.5 lakhs :- Base Rate + 1.50%

For Girl Candidates :-
--> Upto Rs. 7.5 lakhs :- Base Rate + 2.25%
--> Above Rs. 7.5 lakhs :- Base Rate + 1.00%

Yes, concession is available at the rate of interest under Andhra Bank education loan scheme for girl candidates. Andhra Bank offers 0.50% concession in interest rate of education loan for girl students.
