What to do if cannot repay education loan due to Articleship?


Sir, I was taken education loan from SBI to study Engineering course and have completed now but currently passed CA IPCC and looking for Articleship so, can not pay the amount of loan. What should I do now?

The candidate can contact the bank branch and request them for an extension to repay an education loan. The candidate can find some part time jobs and start to repay the education loan. If the candidate does not repay the education loan, then his/her credit score will be spoiled and he/she may face collection executives from the collection agencies on his doorstep. The candidate has to find a way to start repaying the education loan EMIs. Banks usually take collateral for an education loan of over Rs 7.5 Lakhs.
