Interest rates charges against Rs. 4 Lacs in Bank Education Loan? How much time will it take to repay loan amount?


Can anyone of you tell me what is the interest rate charges while applying an Education Loan of Rs. 4 Lacs from any Bank? how much time I will get to repay our Loan amount?

Interest rates on education loan varies from bank to bank. There is 0.5% reduction in interest rate given to female candidates in education loan.

1. State Bank of India: 13.5%.

2. Bank of Baroda: 12.40%.

3. United Bank of India: 13.5%.

4. Central Bank of India: 11.95% etc.

It totally depends upon you, how much time you take to repay education loan. Central Government of India waives interest rate charged during course period. Longer time you will take to repay loan, more interest you will have to submit after course period.
