Whether a co-application has to show work experience to apply for an Education Loan? How many years of work experience is required to apply?


My father is working in a private firm and I am planning to make him a co-applicant to apply for an Education Loan. So, he has to show his work experience also? How many years of work experience is required for the co-applicant to apply for an Education Loan?

No, there is no need of any work experience to be shown by the co-borrower of your education loan. Since your father is working in a private firm, thus, having stable source of income so he can be the co-borrower of your education loan. He will have to furnish all requisite documents as per bank's instructions.
