Yes you are eligible after completing B com degree & fulfilling the below mention eligibility criteria.
Eligibility conditions: Age limits: Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August, 2011 The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the notice Educational qualifications: Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualification Physical standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the regulations given in the appendix-III of rules for the civil services examination, 2011 published in the gazette of India extraordinary dated 19th February, 2011 Number of attempts: The maximum number of attempts permissible to different categories of aspirants, who are otherwise eligible, will be as follows General category (04); P.H. candidates belonging to general category (07); OBC (07); SC/ST/ (no limit) GOOD LUCK....... |

the eligibility for IAS exam: A degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be a Deemed University under the UGC Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification. |

You can do IAS(Indian Administrative Service) after B.com IAS exam is conducted by UPSC * You should be the citizen of India. * You should complete graduation from a recognized university * The age limit must be within 21-35 years for SC/ST. * The age limit must be within 21-33 years for OBC. * The age limit must be within 21-30 years for General category. Attempts: * For SC/ST category - No limit * For OBC - 7 attempts. * For General - 4 attempts Best wishes |

Aspirant,
Yes you can apply for IAS if you are in B.Com final but on a provisional basis of this you can apply for Prelims as final year student but after passing prelims and before Mains one has to compulsorily submits marksheets or full degree documents, so if it is possible for you to produce documents at the time of IAS Mains than you can apply. Yes, You can because eligibilty criteria for IAS is degree of graduation, which you already have. Now just focus on Preparation of exam by reading books of general knowledge, Reasoning and aptitude. Moreover you can get latest information regarding exams dates, notification etc. from the site, www.upsc.gov.in

IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer one has to get through Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year after Graduation in any stream.
The eligible candidate should be a Graduate in any stream of education from a recognised University having Indian Nationality. The candidate should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for OBC candidate up to 3 years and for SC/ST candidate up to 5 years. The selection is hrough three phases:- CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam -Civil Service Main Exam -Personal Interview So after B.Com.ne is eligible to apply for Civil Service Exam. Graduates from any discipline is eligible for IAS(Indian Administrative Service) and to become an IAS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. IAS is "Indian administrative services" which is a civil service whose exam is conducted by the commission UPSC or Union Public Service Commission of india. In india,along with IAS there are several other civil services exams are too there which all are generally,conducted by the same commission UPSC. To sit for the IAS exam,you must have to satisfy some eligibility conditions regards : --educational qualifications --age limit --nationality --physical criteria etc. Here are the eligibility criteria for the UPSC conducted exam,IAS as follows : 1.Educational qualifications : you must have degree in bachelor from recognized & well reputed university of india with minimum 55-60% marks. You must have atleast any of these subjects in graduation as : Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science Botany Chemistry Geology Mathematics Physics Statistics Zoology Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Forestry or Engineering 2.Age limit : you must be within 21-30 years of age to apply for IAS exam,under general conditions but relaxation for 3-5 years are present for particular category candidates. 3.No. of permissible attempts : There are a total of four attempts for general and (Seven attempts of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs ). good luck !! |
