dear friend,

you can get good jobs after completing your b.tech. for that you have to make command over your branch's subjects.do hard labour from now by keeping in mind that i have to take job after my final year.

don't waste time.concentrate on your goal.you can prepare for GATE exam. after passing this exam you can take admission in good college in m.tech. in this college you will get scholarship sponsored by the government.

after doing m.tech. your chances for getting jobs will be increased.

sir i have completed my BTech ECE in 2010 with 83%,my inter and 10th percentage is 89%,
i want to do job...... but i am not interested in software field,i am interested to settle in my core side.........or in government field.
so plz tell me suggestions how i get job............plzzzzzzzzzz

ithink it is totally depend on student.if the student is interested to go in software sector then he must go to the company like tcs,infosys etc.
and if he is interested to go in core sector then he must csose the company like bsnl,reliance,nokia etc.and also go to govt. sector like railwayetc.

Ece branch having good scope in all areas,and fields.circuit designing is the best job and also having good package.

After complete btech u can get jobs through the college campus.u can also try the other companies. Like as
sony,samsung, videocon,lg,panasonic n etc.u can also try for government job in bsnl etc.

after completing your btech, you must look out for campus placement. If you did,nt get job there, then you can search for jobs online. You can post your resume on

they will search a good job for you.

If you a job only after B.Tech then there are many companies like Reliance Communication,Nokia,LG,Samsung,etc. but if first persue M.Tech. then u'll get best job that you are searching for..

As you are now in your 4th year so you will get many options to get into a job like :-
1) You will go through on-campussing in your college.
2) You may try for ISRO,DRDO etc. jobs by their entrance exams.
3) You may try for govt. sector jobs in BSNL,NTPC etc.
4) You may go for private sector jobs in the companies like LG,Samsung,HCL etc.
But i suggest you to not go for these options now and to try for GATE for admit into M.Tech and then go for job.

I would suggest you to jump to electronic jobs in airtel, sony, and other electronic companies

For your information, most of the students doing ECE are rather getting placed in software company or other non related fields.So, to get into core, you have to be updated of Electronic companies like BSNL, Airtel, Nokia, Sony and so on by browsing their websites. Try to collect all BSNL old question papers and work it out. Dont get deviated to software field.Enhance your interest on Electronics.

don't worry friend you will definitely

instantly it may not make happy but after gaining experience you willl get into a good firm

so in this mean time don't worry and concentrate on developping some skills like

communication skills

interpersonnel skills

logical skills

leadership qualities

attending some workshops

getting some prizes or at least participating in some national level technical fests

and all these will fetch you a good job soon

after doing b-tech with ECE,

best option is the: "IES" but its a tough competition.

"PUS" sector is also a good choice it gives the good package money. you can apply any where in PSU's :- DRDO , BHEL, ISRO, NTPC, SAIL, BARC, Bsnl, BEL etc.

after that any private company like:- Intel, NI, Airtel, IBM, Wipro, Samsung etc.

last option is also have a software companies like: TCS, Infoysy, wipro, accenture, oracle, networking(cisco etc.) , embeded infotech etc.

You have lots of option like in core technical field of embedded system, automation system, VLSI, Robotics, Designing, Manufacturing etc.

In software field like software developer, tester, application developer.

In networking of different layers.
You can try for PSUs like BEL, Bhel, Isro, barc, hal, etc.

Since you are ECE student, it is better to go for core side job like bsnl,DRDO,ISRO etc...

TRY getting placed into major telecom companies like airtel, nokia, vodafone, samsung,etc as telecom industry is booming now a days..

as you are now first year then now you should concentrate on your study. but you should not worry about job, because there are so many jobs are available for B.Tech in ECE.


first of all after completion of your B.Tech you may go for job in core field or IT field and also in defense in civil services and other field which are available after graduation.


if you go for core filed then you may go for telecom field then BSNL JTO is one option for you. you may join in BHEL, ISRO, SAIL, NTPC etc after completion of your study.


in IT field some company are Infosys, CTS, TCS, IBM etc. you may also go for further study. then your job opportunity will be increased and you may join as lecturer in Institution. but for any type of job you should have a good knowledge on engineering so try to study seriously in B.Tech.

generally comes out in april and they conduct exam on august and then personal

Well, friend a good job means a lot in your side also.

After your BE/BTECH in ece you can go for core companies,you can also apply for the companies in your campus placement.

You can go for IAS,IPS,IFS, railways jobs, bank sector or networking side.

My word of advice is that you should be strong in your basics and strong communication skills are needed for your interview in any field.

First i would like to tell that you have got very good percentage in your engg. please continue with that only, out of 100 in almost 95+ companies you are eligible becuse of your high percentage.

You need to be clear about your future path, what interest is that you want to persue:

If you want to go for MBA, i would like to advice that give your best shot and try to aim for first 20 colleges as if you opt for colleges other than these would not be a good option.
Along with that you can prepare for the campus interview you need to be clear with your concepts in your field as you have good percentage you would be able to clear your company interview then you can decide that whether you want to join comany or do MBA.

please make yourself clear with the objective that you want to attain once you complete your college. As sailing in various boats would drown you.

If you are interested in core side then you can write many entrance exams like ISRO, DRDO ,BSNL and also many bank exams......
But if you are interested in software side, then you can get in to any software company through campus placements

It is difficult to say, which is best job today,i.e ECE and CSE because IT market has also a lot of job now a days,So it depends upon your interest and choice, according to me.

after b tech ece you get many jobs. you need to consontrate on your study.
as you know in the ece field many jobs exits. it is your desire on which field you become.
if you want core field then you choose BSNL JTO.
you may also join in ISRO, SAIL, NTPC ,bhel etc.

if you desire in the it field then many companies IBM ,VIPRO.TCS,HCL ETC.

you may join as lecturer in Institution.
BUT FOR ANY KIND OF JOB YOU HAVE A KNOWLEDGE OF HIS SUBJECT.

hello friend...

If you are going to be fresher then its tough to get into company with 55% in 10th and 12th, cause most of the MNC vlsi/embedded system based company have the eligibility as 60% in 10th,12th and B.Tech... but if you are going to be with some experience then no need of 10th,12th marks... so if you are fresher now just try to get in some small companies wherein they check only your performance but not the marks, gain some experience from their and then jump into the big companies....

I will advice to go for ROBERT BOSCH because of the following reasons...

-> Robert Bosch is your stream core company, where you will have lot of opportunities to shine in future, where as in TCS its a software company which needs a lot of hard work, learning to shine for you.

-> Robert Bosch is a product oriented company where you will some good pay than TCS which is a service oriented company.

-> Robert Bosch as less number of people working where you have good working atmosphere but in TCS there are a lot of people working, recently they have crossed recruiting some 20,000 students from campus placements and they have announced that they will take another 30,000+ students for next year

-> Robert Bosch as one disadvantage though when compared with TCS that is Job Security. You have to perform well in Bosch to secure your job while in TCS its not that case it will be same if you perform or not perform

At the end of the day.. its your Interest which matters, because many EC students use to do programming well.. so if you are that kind then think well and take a decision...

There must be campus counseling in you college. You can get hired though on campus or you can even get by applying off campus

So let the companies come to your college and then you will get a job on the basis of your final year percentage or CGPA

Even if you dont get a good job dont worry go for higher studies like MBA,IAS or GATE
