Re: IAS exam eligibility for 35 years aged 10th class pass person
hi friend,
As you told that you have done only 10th class there is no chance even to appear in the exam since IAS exam requires atleast a graduation in any subject. Afterthat you will be eligible for taking even this test. One more thing, as you did 10th class in 1992 you are also overaged ie you have crossed maximum age limit. So you wont be eligible for taking IAS exam even if you try this after doing graduation in this age. My suggestion for you is that you should try for Patwari job , published time to time in news paper , it requires less qualification. |

Quote:
The minimum qualification required for appearing the competitive examination is Graduation. Many professionals like Engineers, Doctors, persons with Ph.d qualifications are competing for UPSC. Age should be within 30 years with 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. So if you are belonging to SC/ST group and have a graduation degree in hand then only you are eligible for IAS, otherwise you are not eligible for IAS. |

Re: IAS exam eligibility for 35 years aged 10th class pass person
The eligibility criteria for the IAS exam is as under-
1. A bachelor's degree from a recognised institutes with 50% marks. 2. The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to general category is 30 years. Maximum age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST category is 35 years and 33 years for OBC. As both the above parameters are not fitted to you so its better for you to drop the idea & search for some other exam. There are a no: of jobs available after 10th class too so its better for you to register your resume at various sites like naukri.com,shine.com etc & get the latest updates from them. |

Re: IAS exam eligibility for 35 years aged 10th class pass person
eligibility criteria for IAS exam -
1. Graduation from any recognized university . 2. Age limit = 21 to 30 years .(5 years relaxation for sc/st) 3. Number of permissible attempts = 4 times for general (7 times for sc/st) So the minimum qualification required for IPS exam is graduation .As a 10th class pass there is no way to apply for IPS exam . You can go for the group "D" exams of Govt. sectors . Thank you |
