I am doing my m.com(accounts) in correspondence.. I am interested in teaching in college.. what is the qualification required for teaching in college.. Is m.phil should be done compulsory for teaching in college

Hello I have completed my bcom in accounting and finance that is baf with 78%.. also mcom with A grade in all the sems. I give private tutions from 1st to 10 th std students. Now I wish to join international school as a mathematics teacher.I have great interest in teaching.kindly advice the scope and growth in this field and starting salary.

After doing M.com it is best for you if you are apply for the Govt. teaching jobs..You have to fill the form for govt. jobs.Because you can earn high package salary in govt jobs more than private teaching jobs.

You can teach in coaching centers,private tuitions,etc.To continue career teaching in schools or colleges at least b.ed is necessary with NET or TET cleared,nowadays colleges generally recruit professors with Phd degree.

If you interested in teaching field then you have three options which are:

Opt for B.Ed to become lecturer(PGT or TGT) at school Level.
Clear NET(Asst Professor) for Assistant Professor(entry level) at degree level.
Pursue PhD in order to promote or to get preference as a professor at university level.

Meanwhile, as a part time, you can teach students online or you can teach in a coaching institute.
