I am a UR candidate aspiring for the post of Income Tax Inspector and expect to get 134.50 in TIER - I and 250.00 in TIER - 2 (Arithmetical Ability - 112.00 English - 138.50) i.e. total 385.00 (TIER - 1 TIER - 2). Is there any possibility of my selection for the post of Income Tax Inspector if I get around 50-55 marks in Interview ?

This year the total UR vacancy for Income Tax Inspectors is how much ? Is it less or more than that of the previous year ? Please reply. I am eager to know.

I calculated my marks in CGL 2011 1 and 2 both which is around 290/600.....I'm an OBC candidate...what are my chances taking into account the low cut off in tier 1?

THOSE WHO ARE SAYING THAT CUT OFF WILL BE AROUND 60 PERCENT FOR GEN CAT THAT IS TRUE BUT FINAL SELECTION OF THOSE CANDIDATE WILL REMAIN IN DILEMMA DUE TO MANY OBC CANDIDATE FIGHTS THROUGH GEN. In my opinion the cut off for appearing in the interview of SSC CGLE-2011 will UR-330, OBC-315, SC & ST-300.
