my date of birth is 5-3-1993 please kindly inform sir iam eligable or not for taking nda2 exam.

NDA exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

Here i am going to provide the eligibility criteria for NDA exam.

Age criteria :
-One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for NDA exam.

Academic qualification :
-One should have completed his 10+2 to be eligible for NDA exam.
-The candidates who are appearing for 12th examinations are also eligible.

As your date of birth is in the required age group, if you have completed your 10+2, you can appear for NDA exam.

This year NDA-2 exam is going to be conducted on 21st August, 2011.

sorry,my friend you cannot apply for NDA exam beacause the age limit of 2011 exam is who born after 1993 and before1995

According to recent notification of NDA-II exam,you are not eligible for the exam.
Because your is age not between 1st July 1993 to 1st Jan 1996.

So you are not eligible for NDA exam any more.
If your interest,you can try after your graduation in CDS exam.

No you can not appear in NDA now, because you have crossed the age limit as your DOB is 21 Apr 1992.

The eligibility criteria of NDA are as follows-

1. Age limit:

The age of the candidate must be at least 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam.

2. Education qualification:

The candidates who have completed class 12th and the candidates who are going to appear for the class 12 or its equal exam are also eligible to submit an application for NDA exam.

Candidates who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males.

If at all you are interested to join defense then after completion of graduation you can join through CDSE. This exam is conducted by UPSC.

I think You are not Eligible To Apply for NDA Exam.

Age limits : 16 1/2 - 19 yrs.

And,Only married male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July,1993 and not

Later than 1st January,1996 are Eligible.

As per your given date of birth, you are eligible for NDA Examination.

UPSC will conduct the NDA Examination 2 times in a year. The NDA Ist Examination was already completed. But dont worry you can apply for NDA II Examination.

So, if you are interested in NDA Examination, then please fill the application form Online by visit the given website.

The NDA II Examination was going to be held on 21/Aug/2011.

And you can fill the application form till 09/May/2011.

sorry brother your age is not fit to the required age but you should not leave hope because there are coming CDS,IMA and other OTA exams are there for being an army officer requirement is just you should be graduated

UPSC has released a recruitment notification for the recruitment of National Defence Academy (NDA) and Nava Academy (NA) Examination – (II).

Age limit for NDA:- not less then 16.5 and not more then 19.

Qualification :- candidates should be pass 12th with physics and mathematics

Hey friend,

NDA-National Defence Academy.

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC and it is held 2 times a year.You are not eligible for NDA exam regarding the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility:

The candidate must be a citizen of India.
The candidate must have born not before 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996 i.e the candidates must be 16 1/2-19 years.

Education qualification:

For Army Wing:

The candidates must have finished their +2 with (10th,12th) pattern conducted by school education.

For Air force and Naval Wings:

The candidates must have finished their +2 with (10th,12th) pattern conducted by school education with physics and mathematics as subjects.

The candidates who are appearing for the +2 exam are also eligible to apply for this exam.

The candidates must be physically fir while appearing for the NDA exam as it a plays a important role.

for nda -1 2011 you can not apply because,
for 2011 , candidate age must be between 1-06-1994 to 1995,
but your age is not between it . so you are not eligible.

i am happy to say that ur eligible to apply for the exam...
but other then ur age there are other requirements for that exams such as..
1... for army wing of national defence academy.. your must have class 12 result of or any equivalent examination conducted by a state education boar or a university..
2..
for air fore and naval wings of nda..
you should have class 12 result or any equivalent school education with physics and mathematics conducted by a state of education board or a university..
for your information the up coming nda exam will be held on august 2011 and the last date to apply for this exam is 9th may 2011..

National Defence Academy Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission for admission to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the NDA twice a year.

Sorry to reply late.But according to your date of birth of 21.04.2011 you can't apply for the NDA exam of the NDA II ,2011 because you are not eligible according to the NDA II exam age limits that is only those candidates are eligible to apply who were born between 02.07.1993 to 01.01.1996 . Below I have provided the eligibility criteria for the NDA entrance exam you can go through that.

Eligibility for NDA

NDA is the entrance exam for the admission in the India's NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY.
The NDA exan is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. One you clear all the exams in the NDA then you get a job under the government of India. After a training of one year after selection you get the permanent job.

The eligibility for the NDA exam is that one should have passed the 10+2 board exam from a recognized board , it is for the Army wing only.
But for the Air Force and the Navy you have to pass the 10+2 board exam from the recognized board and should have maths and physics as the compulsory subjects in the 10+2 board exam.

The age criteria is from 16.5 years to 19 years for the general category students.
Also there is upper age relaxation for the OBC of 3 years and for the SC/St there is 5 years of age relaxation on the upper age limit.

Age Limit
The candidate applying for the NDA exam should have the age between
16½ - 19 years. So you can calculate your age for which year you are applying and if it is between 16½ - 19 years then you are eligible.

Education Qualification

(i) For Army
The minimum education qualification for the Army wing is 12th pass. Candidates who have appeared in the 12th exam are also eligible.

(ii) For Air Force and Navy
The minimum education qualification for the Air Force and Naval
Wings is 12th pass with Physics and Maths . Candidates who have appeared in the 12th exam are also eligible.

Yes, you are eligible for NDA examination.
Check the following eligibility criteria of NDA that is given by UPSC.

Educational Eligibility : 12th pass from any recognized board in any stream.

>>> If you want to apply for air force or naval wing then you must have physics and mathematics as a compulsory subject in your 12th standard.

>>> If you want to apply for army wing then any one can apply who is placed within the eligibility limit.

definetly you eligible for NDA( National Defence Examination) which is going to condut on 17 April 2011.

Age limit: 16 1/2 to 19 years on the date of commecment of examination, so definetly you are eligible to appear in NDA-1 Examination 2011. SC and ST stundents can get age relaxation also.

Last Date for application: last date of application of form is 15 Nov 2010, so you need not to worry about your application. Just get one form and submit it.
