see, to appear in the govt PSU Exam, Percentage Required are

>>Minimum 60% marks in degree engineering.

although some PSU want 65% marks in degree engineering.

there have no percentage criteria for 10th and 12th to join in the govt psu.

age limit for the maximum PSU are given below

>>21-28 years.

in some case it may be 21-30 years.

Minimum Percentage Required for PSU Exam in 10th,12th and BTech

you have to get minimum 65% marks to apply for PSU exam

all knows that for applying only 65% in B tech is needed but for interviews and selections your previous marks will be considered along with your performance in PSU exams

Actually it varies from one company to another

HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) Eligibility Criteria -

-Engineering degree holder in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Production,Computer Science, Metallurgy, Aeronautic Branches are eligible

-General and OBC candidates mus have secured a minimum of 65% in their degree examination and schedule caste and schedule tribe candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% in their degree examination

-engineering degree holder candidates in Aeronautical BranchAeronautical Branch must have secured at least 60% aggregate in degree while SC/ST candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate

HPCL Eligibility criteria

-Graduates in Engineering / Technology or those in final year are eligible from the branch Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Electronics & Telecommunications
-The OBC candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate in degree while SC/ST candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate
- There is also an upper age limit of 30 years for SC/ST candidates and 28 years for OBC candidates

BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited) eligibility Criteria

- Degree holders in Mechanical / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with 60% marks are eligible
-The age of the candidate must not be more than 30 years.

DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization)-

-Bachelor degree holder in Metallurgical, Chemical,Computer Science, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Electronics & communications and Master degree holder in Physics and chemistry are eligible

-the age of the candidate must not be more than 28 years. Some relaxation will be provided to SC/STOBC/HH/OH candidates.

Mainly B.TECH with 65% in any stream is enough to make job in psus

Psu are hiring through gate 2013.
So any percentage criteria for BE required for psu's

The eligibility requirement varies from job post to job post as well as PSUs to PSUs.
Generally PSUs require at least 60% throughout the applicant’s educational life i.e. at 10th, 12th & Btech.
But then there are companies which require less than 60% (mostly 50% or 55% or even less) as a cut off for appearing in their recruitment drive.
You should go through the minimum educational requirement of PSUs & ensure that you fulfil all the criteria before applying for any job.

in psu min %age required is 65%.My friend 10th & 12th marks doesn't matter only b.tech is important.all PSU required same %age.

Hi All...my engineering percentage is 64.65%(if calculated by total obtained marks/total maximum marks) and 65.19%( if calculated by aggre of each sem/8)...please tel me whats the exact method to calculate aggregate...am i eligible for applying for companies for which the cut off is 65%)
