Candidates who secure a valid score in the written test are called for an interview at the Regional Centres.
You can also opt for book of 'upkar prakashan' or 'pratyogita darpan' for its preparation.

Paper II:

Paper II us Descriptive type consisting of:

Candidates who secure a minimum number of marks in the written test are called for an interview at the Regional Centres.

Eligibility criteria for the examination is ::

You must have completed your graduation in any streams.
You should be not more then 33yrs.There is some relaxation in upper age limit given to the reserved caste students .For OBC - 35yrs and for the SC / ST / NT - 38 yrs

You can appear for the exam as many times as you want there is no limitation of it

Pattern of the examination ::The examination is completed in two phases ::

1. Preliminary examination :: Its of Objective Type Paper and question will be based on ::

General Studies paper - 300 Marks (0.25 negative marking)

2. Main Exam :This examination is also of Objective Type and there will be total two papers :

Paper I :

Languages - 200 Marks
English - 70 Marks
Marathi - 130 Marks

Paper II ::

GS - 200 marks
General Studies - 130 marks
Intelligence Test - 70 marks

There is no physical test for the STI post

Interview will be of 50 marks for the STI.
