Sir!!! You want to serve the nation, which is very appreciable. In order to become a IAS (INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE) Officer, you must have to clear the civil service examination. As you said that, you have completed your graduation, you can appear in this examination. As the minimum educational requirement for apply in this exam is a graduation degree in any stream but from a recognized college. This civil service examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONevery year. This civil service examination has three stages to be clear in the way of a IAS aspirant-- 1. CSAT (CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST ) 2. MAINS 3. INTERVIEW CSAT EXAM PATTERN- OPTIONAL SUBJECT IN CSAT-- MAINS EXAM PATTERN- No of optional subjects in MAINS-- AGE LIMIT- 21-30 years for the general candidates, 21-33 years for the obc candidates, 21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates.. The candidates must be a indian The candidates should be complete degree in any stream from recognized university The candidates age limit between 21 to 30yearsfor general candidates 21 to 33 years for obc candidates 21 to 35 years for sc / st candidates Selection process : Preliminary exam Main exam Interview No of attempts : General candidates four times Obc candidates seven times Sc / st candidates no limit |

Hi dear,
Eligibility Criteria of IAS exam. Age limits : 21-30 years. The candidate must possess a degree from an Indian University or an educational institution deemed as a University or possess an equivalent qualification. Those in the final year of a degree course can also appear in the Preliminary Examination. The candidate must have attained 21 years of age on August 1st of the year of examination and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
