The possibilities of joining in Indian Army after B.tech are by writing the defence service exam like NDA,CDS.They provide options of joining in Indian Army. There are certain eligibility criteria's framed which has to be satisfied before applying for the exams. If you are interested in writing the NDA or CDS exam you must strictly be a unmarried male candidate. You must have a citizenship in India. Indian Army: Age limit for NDA: Candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years. Age limit for CDS: Candidate must have a age limit of 19-24 years. Education Qualification for NDA: Candidate must have passed +2 from a recognized board with a fair percentage. Education Qualification for CDS: Candidate must have passed his graduation from a recognized university. Engineering graduate can join the Indian Military Academy directly. So, you only need to attend the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. Eligibility Criteria :- Age Limit :- Between 20-27 years at the time of joining. Educational :- Must be of final year or pre final year engineering student. The course starts every year in the month of January and July. Advertisement of the application form published in March/April & Oct./Nov in employment newspaper.
