GENERAL ELIGIBILITY
Master's Degree of this University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto
in the fields of study notified from time to time by this University. Specific educational
qualifications are given in Clause 2.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology of the University or any other qualification
recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study with a minimum of 15 years of R & D
Experience in National Research Laboratories / Public sector undertakings and with
minimum of three publications in referred impact factor journals or two approved
international patents in the last five years.
A minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination
(50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale for SC/ST candidates).
The Clause 1.3 does not apply, if the qualifying degree is M.S (By Research) of this University or recognized as equivalent.

I had completed my MBA with 72% ,degree 74.6% ,inter 45% ,tenth 64%,can i be eligible to per sure phd .....i had low percentage in inter ....is this a problem to be qualifying for phd

Hi ! Any candidate who has a master degree in any disiplin and secured 50% aggregate is elegible for phd. For phd course you should go through an entrance text . The text is within 100 marks. M.phil students or lectures working in collages are elegible for direct entry. After qualifying in entrance you will take admission and at the time of admision you have to produce original masters degree and photocopy of marksheet. I think you should be wait for geting your mba cerificates. Here is some university you can go for details. 1 - Sikkim manipal 2 - Neheru university 3- pune university

dear firend,
if you want to do the Ph.D degree, then you have to do the M.Phil in that subject in whih you want to do the Ph.D
Ph.D is the the course which a student can do after Master in phillosophy course.
M.Phill is also the two year course whih can do after a master degree course.
Ph.D is the last course in a partiular subject and for a student can qualify this course by working hard in that particular subject.

*The basic requirement for applying in Ph.d degree is that you should have completed bachelor degree with minimum 60% of marks.
*Your age should be in between 21 to 35 years of age.
