i have got 73.5% in 10th and 59.4% in 12th whereas int btech i got till 2nd year 65%.am i elligible for companies like infosys,ibm?

m ananya and i have appeared in infosys campus placement. but due to ma bad luck couldn't able to clear the exam. but my all friends have cleared it. :(

yes you are eligible for campus placement since infosys have criteria of atlest 60% in 10th and 12th and aggregate of 58% till the semester you have appeared for.But you should not have live backlogs. The aggregate may be 60% also depending on the college.

3.The candidate must not have any study gap more than 2 years..

you should have minimum percentage of 75% in 10th ,12th and in B.TECH . Its good if you have made any mini project other than your final year project.know the new emerging technologies

1.>Candidates should have throughout 60% means 60% in 10th, 60% in 10+2th and 60% in graduation.

2.>Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university(Must be AICTE approved).

3.> Candidates should not have any backlogs.

I'm persuing B.Tech (ECE) final year . My academic aggregates are:
10 th - 87.667%
12th - 88%
B.Tech- 78.41% (for the 3 years)
It is anounced that Infosys on-campus selection is going to be held shortly in our college campus.
This included the selection process is for Jkc enrolled students only.
But i have not enrolled to JKC.
Can you kindly say whether i can apply for it or not,
also, is there any compulsion in Infosys on-campus placement that one must be JKC enrolled to be eligible for applying?

the eligibility criteria for Infosys campus placement is 60% in 10th, 12th and in B.Tech and there is no backlog in any Semester. You have more then 60% in 10th, 12th and if in B.Tech your marks is above then 60% then you are eligible for Infosys campus placement. for details please download the attachment.

m a 3rd yr student in btech havin 77% in 10th (cbse) , 61.2% in 12th(cbse) , no year gap but my btech carrer in very poor havin many backs , i doubt my cgpa ll hardly reach 60% after clearing all papers till 3rd yr so kindly telll me whether i m eligible 4 infosys ?

Hii... In few colleges the eligibility for Infosys is termed as:

1) Xth 65%
2) 10+2 65%
3) B.Tech 68%
The above mentioned criteria holds for many universities like JNTU affilated colleges etc...

while in few universities its 60 in Xth and 12th...where as in B.Tech its 65 and also upto 60 at few places...
Make sure u boost up your B.Tech % to 68+(for safer side) all the best

60% and above through out career is enough for infosy and all other MNCs but percentage is calculated on total marks in exam and marks you secured and ne optional are included in that and note that once we sit for infosys we can reappear its test after 9 months .

Don't worry, you can apply for those entrance exams with your given percentages. The students can be from any stream, but they are required to have a score of atleast 50 percent in their final exams. Students of the Sc/St/PH and OBC communities require only 45 percentage marks. Those who are writing their final year exam are qualified to appear for the exam too.

There is no age limit for placement in Infosys.

* You should have minimum 60% at 10th.
* You should have minimum 60% at 12th.
* And graduation also 60%.
* No Backlog is allowed.
* Two year gap is allowed.

So there is no age limit. No need to worry about it. Work hard and don't have backlog

83.4% in 12th and
average aggregate in btech is 65.4%
but i got total 3 backlog, 2 in 1st semester cleared it in 3rd semester and 1 in 3rd semester which i can clear in 4th semester.

INFOSYS didn't mention about any gap criteria

but they need a consistently excellent academic track record.

and percentage criteria is 75% for off-campus

and 65% for on campus!!

and also you should not have any backlogs!!
