i am studying in 12th and i also submit form for iit jee 2012 . i am not in condition to give 12th board as well as iit jee entrance exam. i had passed 10th in 2010 . i want to study 11th and 12th again. can i also give iit jee entrance exam in 2014. does the gap of 4 years matters?

if he fails in class 12 exam he/she cannot appear for the board exams that year itself but can appear for iit jee after clearing the exam next year itself

There is NO any Criteria for failing in 12th board, you make a GAP certificate or affidavit.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for I.I.T-J.E.E exam after passing supplementary exam also.

The candidate who apply for I.I.T must pass 12th class in first attempts with minimum 60% marks.
For ST/SC candidate also pass 12th class in frist attempts with minimum 55%c marks.

The age limit is 17-25 year

I PASSED 10TH BOAD IN 2009.I GOT REGISTERED TO 11TH CLASS IN 2010 AND AFTER 1 YEAR(IN 2011) I GAVE IITJEE AND COULD NOT QUALIFY.THIS YEAR(2012) I QUALIFIED 12TH BOAD AND GAVE IITJEE(FILLED THE FORM AS APPEARING STUDENT IN 12TH BOAD) BUT COULD NOT QUALIFY.CAN I GIVE 2013 IIT JEE(OR ISEET)

Yes, he can give next year.
But, he has to pass the Class 12 exam with the minimum percentage required to fulfill the eligibility criteria in the next year if he is applying for IIT-JEE exam.
If he had applied this year for IIT-JEE, the next chance will be its last chance and also if he misses that one. He could never give IIT-JEE exam in the future.
Because, IIT-JEE exam can be given only two times consecutively.

Let me tell you frankly my dear friend that if you fail in class 12 then you wont be able to sit for IITJEE in that year because you have to secure a minimum of 60% in your class 12 to be eligible for class 12.
However if you reappear for class 12 and secure the required perrcentage then you will be eligible for IITJEE int that year.

i m failing in 12th boards 2012 exam.i got compartment in chemistry..i have not given my compartment exam as i was not in that condition due to health problem..Now i m appearing as a private candidate as a failure candidate......sir plz tell me that m i eligible for iit exam next year 2013....i m very much preparing for iit.jee...Is there any problem to be a failure candidate....sir plz reply....as in marksheet failure candidate will be mentioned......

frnd don't be afered of failing... make failing fail...
so now come to the point . yes any one fail current year than they are eligible for appearing in next year. so if by the chance you fail this time than you can appear for next ime after pass the 12th class.
if you fail in more than one subject than you are consider fail.........

Eligibility For IIT JEE

The IIT Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is conducted every year for admissions to B.Tech courses in IITs, ISM Dhanbad and a few other prominent institutions..

A candidate is eligible to appear for the IIT JEE only if :-

>> The candidate has either appeared for 12th boards in the same year as appearing for JEE or in the previous year..

>> Candidate must secure 60% in PCM in 12th boards..

You are not eligible for the selection criteria after failing your 12th boards even if you clear the IIT JEE..

You will pass your 12th boards if you get an aggregate of 33% in your board subjects..

Your true 2 attempts for IIT JEE shall be counted only in the year in which you pass your 12th boards..

If you see for yourself, you wouldn't have secured 60% in your subjects even if you clear the JEE..so first you will have to secure 60%..

if a student fails in the 12th class then he is not eligible for giving the iitjee exam this year but if he passes the exam by giving the supplementry exam, then he is eligible for givng the exam next year.
the basic criteria for giving the exam of iitjee is to pass the 12th class with atleast 50% marks in total.

sir i am pass class 12 with 56.2 % in 2012 cbse board exams and drop a year to prepare for jee main and advance exams and also registrated for class 11 in up board at the time of drop so as to able to give 12 exams again in 2014 . so, my question is if iam again drop and prepare for jee main and advance with board exam and qualify to get admission in iit collages then there is no problem with gap between 10th acadmic year which is 2010 and 12th acadmic year which is become 2014 . iit will accept this . please tell me soon

You can give the examination only if you opt for one of the below mentioned :

* Either you have failed , then you can give the exam once again.

* Or you can give improvemental exam so that you can give the examination of that subject in which you have got less marks.

In my opinion , you should go for improvemental exams.

Sir I have passed 12 board from CBSE in commerce stream but I really want to study science so I am again giving exam from nios board my question is that can I give exams from nios from science does it will affect my CBSE degree.I mean my CBSE will be valid if I give exam from BIOS because there is a rule that you cannot have two degrees....

i qualified in iit jee main 2014 but i fail in maths with pcm 39% in 12th. if i reappear in maths can i give jee main exam next year.

I have a genuine case, I have not cleared my Maths paper in 2014, I could not appear for the supplementary exam in 2014 because of health issues. For this year I have opted for improvement exam in Physics, Chemistry& Biology along with Maths re exam. This year while filling the application form for mains, there is a column for a) Year of Passing or Appearing Class 12th/Qualifying Exam -: will this be 2014/2015 ?
If in case I put 2015 - the next options b) Appeared/Appearing for Improvement of Class 12th/Qualifying Examination in all the 4/5 subjects as per the scheme of studies of the board is getting defaulted to 'NO' also the other related input options are getting disabled. If I put 2014 I have this entry open. Please advise me on this as early as possible.

After 10th Passed from Gujarat state Board , For Better Prospectus to crack IIT Where one should take admission for XI/XII, State Board like Rajstan state Board or CBSE ?

If some one take admission in Rajstan Board & if he is unable to crack JEE Mains can he is eligible to take admission in other state Board colleges.
