If you have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks then you are eligible for JEE exam 2016. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates. Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years. |

Re: Am I eligible to appear in JEE 2016 after failing in 12th?
Joint Entrance Exam is conducted by CBSE board once in a year
Sorry to say that but you are not eligible at present because main eligibility criteria for the desired test is that you must hold a 12th passing certificate from any recognized school or recognized board. As you mentioned that you are failed in 12th class so you are not eligible When we talk about your next question. You are eligible in both condition but first you need to pass in all subjects. Board doesn't matter in JEE exam |

Re: Am I eligible to appear in JEE 2016 after failing in 12th?
Yes, you are eligible to appear for the JEE examination in the 2016 after reappearing for the 10+2 board examination in the 2016.
The JEE stands for the Joint Entrance Examination and it is the conducted by the CBSE every year for the admission of the candidates in the B.TECH and B.E course to pursue from the IIT, NIT and other government institutes. Yes, you can appear for the Advance in the 2016 which is the second stage of the examination. So you need to qualify in the Mains paper to appear for the Advance. As there are only two attempts so you are only eligible to appear in the 2016. The examination contains the questions of the Mathematics, Physics and the Chemistry. There is separate cut for the different category candidates in the Mains to qualify for the Advance. But you need to work hard to qualify in the board examination and Mains to become eligible for the Advance. |

Re: Am I eligible to appear in JEE 2016 after failing in 12th?
Yes, you are eligible to appear in the JEE in the 2016 as well as in the 2017 as the maximum attempt to appear for the JEE examination is three. So you need to qualify in the board 10+2 to become eligible to qualify and get the admission on the JEE ranks.
But you are not eligible to appear in the Advance stage in the 2017 after qualifying in the Mains examination as there are only two attempts for the Advance. The eligibility to appear for the examination is candidates must have passed the 10+2 from the recognized board. The candidates appearing in the board examination are also eligible. So you need to reappear in the board examination or pass the 10+2 through the NIOS to appear and get the admission in the B.tech/B.E from the recognised university. There is also relaxation on the cut off marks and on seats for the admission in the colleges. |

Re: Am I eligible to appear in JEE 2016 after failing in 12th?
You need to study again for the 10+2 board examinations and reappear again for the 10+2 board examinations from Uttar Pradesh. The first option is not valid because you have appeared for the 10+2 board exams from UP Board so you can not appear for the compartment exams from NIOS. You can only appear for the compartment exams from UP board.
Once more option is there that you can give the whole 10+2 board exams from NIOS board then you only also apply for the JEE in 2016. In NIOS board, you can also score more than UP board. The official website of NIOS is www.nos.org. |

Re: Am I eligible to appear in JEE 2016 after failing in 12th?
If you have cleared your compartment exams and get passing marks before JEE 2016 is conducted then you will be eligible for JEE 2016.
Candidates must have Physics , Chemistry and Maths as the Main subjects in class 12th. You must scored minimum 50% marks in class 12th including all the subjects. You must not born earlier than October 1, 1991. 5 years relaxation is given to ST/SC candidates. Number of attempts is three times. so, you cannotr apply for JEE until you have passed your 12th. |

Re: Am I eligible to appear in JEE 2016 after failing in 12th?
yes you can appear in jee 2016 as you age is to be around 17 thus it is a minimum eligibility to appear in the jee exam the other important thing is that you should score more than 50% in 12 th exams you should have to focus in physics , chemistry , maths and english . The main tip is that you can score marks by preparing it by preparing it in a periodically planned manner . You make a pland and try to follow the plan regularly to achive the goal.but you should clear all your back logs before jee exam
