After HSC in commerce, you are not eligible for automobile engineering course.

Those candidates who have passed matriculation/10th with Mathematics, Physical Science & English from Central or State Board recognized by Govt are eligible for this course.

Your age should be below 21 years.

Hi friend
For doing engineering degree in automobile or in any stream u must be a passed 12th science and entrance exam.
But on the basis of 10 th u will get admission for diploma engineering cource.

most engineering and design courses require you to have a background in science and basic calculus before you can apply for a degree in that field. so, to answer your question, you can pursue a diploma in engineering (polytechnic) first, and then apply for lateral entry into engineering.

See, the basic eligibility criteria for pursuing any engineering course is the-

Science Branch

There is nothing more important than this clause for opting of any of the engineering branch in any engineering college.

Since you had commerce till your intermediate, so you cannot apply for the engineering course.
But yet, there is one way. That is only an option, which is told for the purpose of information. i would not recommend you to choose that.

For a commerce guy, if he/she chooses to do diploma that is done after the 10th standard in India, then he/she will become eligible for the engineering course. but it is like doing the intermediate again therefore it is not advisable.

We would recommend that you choose any of the course in commerce field only.
