For IMA or the Indian Military Academy,you have to appear for the
CDSE exam conducted by the UPSC twice a year.

Eligibility:

Unmarried male and females can apply.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate of any discipline.
Final year students can apply.
For IAF, Navy, Physics and math compulsory.

Age limits:

Candidate must be between 19-23 years of age.

I am Pankaj Rawat and my DOB is 13th nov 1988 and i will be of 24 by this nov 2012 i am applying for IMA but its not accepting as it is showing not eligible for IMA..please help

IMA Stands for Indian Militant Academy.

If you want to join IMA , then you have to appear in the Combined Defense Services (CDS) Examination which is conducted by the UPSC every year.

The Age Limit for the IMA :

your age should lie in between 19-23 years.

Educational Qualifications :

Graduation from any UGC recognized university.

Physical Standards :

IMA(Indian Military Academy) Exam is conducted by the UPSC. In order to appear in this exam,you will have to appear in CDS(Combine Defence Services) Exam.

In order to appear for IMA through CDS you will require to fulfill these Eligibility:-

Nationality :- You must be a Citizen of India.

Sex :- Male.

Martial Status :- Unmarried.

Educational qualification :-You must be Graduation pass out in any stream from recognized university.

Age :-
>>Your minimum age should be 18 years.
>>Your age should not be above 24 years.

Exam Pattern:-

>>There will be 3 papers from which the questions will be asked.
>>Each paper will be of 100 marks.

Syllabus :- Questions will be asked from -

• English.
• General Knowledge.
• Elementary Mathematics.
