Sir,i have purchase wbjee2010 form for studay engeeniring but when i read form then i got information that without comlite 17 years as on 31.12.10 can't attend exam.my date of birth is 15.07.1993 and i comlite my required age on 15.07.10 so iam asking that i can attend or not if not then i can got refund from board or bank reply me, thanks

hey you have given that you should be of 17 on or before 31.12.2010.
and your date of birth is 15.07.1993,so obviously you will be completing your 17 years on 15.07.2010,hence you are fulfilling the age criteria.
so go on and write the exam.

It is clearly mentioned in the of WBJEE brochure in the JEM SCHEME 2010, at the page-5 that.

"The candidate must be 17 years of age as on or after 31.12.2010"

And your present age is 17 + years as on 15.07.2010,according to this you are eligible for it.

So,dont worry apply for it.

Send you application soon,by speed post,because the last date for reciept of application form is 12.01.2010.

Any Indian citizen who is at least 17 years of age on 31st of December of the current year may appear for the JEM examinations conducted by the WBJEE Board.
other education qualification required are :-
Except for Pharmacy and Architecture and Marine Engineering courses, general students need 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics taken together and 30% marks in English at 10+2 level. SC/ST candidates need 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular (or any other fifth subject).

but you must have at least 17years of age to appear for the exam.
and you must not have a gap of more than 2 years after your 12th board exam.

I PASSED MY 12 BOARD EXAM FROM CBSE BOARD IN 2008.AM I ELIGBLE TO TAKE WBJEE IN 2011.

According to WBJEE rules you should be of 17 in which year you will appear in the exam.

you get chance in colleges if you have scored 12th with PCM 50% as well as 30 % in English and 10% relaxation for sc/st.
