The full form of MP PSC is Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services.
Age limit for exams: The general age limit is 21-40 years for MP PSC and five years extra upper age relaxation for Ex Serviceman candidates. In case of Civil Services exam, it is 21-32 years. At age of 43 years, you can apply for MP PSC exam only. |

No, you are not eligible for MPPSC & IAS post because of your age. The full details about eligibility requirements are mentioned below.
Eligibility criteria for IAS exam: - The candidate should be an Indian. - The candidate should have completed their graduation level degree in any discipline from any recognised university. - The age limit should be between 21 - 32 years. - There is relaxation for the reserved candidates based on the government rules. Eligibility criteria for MPPSC exam: - The candidate should be citizen of India. - The candidate should have completed graduation level degree in any related stream with fair percentage from any recognised university. - The age limit should be between 21 - 40 years. - There is age relaxation for reserved candidates based on the government rules. In general the age relaxation for ex - servicemen will be 5 years. Since your age is 48 years the upper age limit is 37 years for IAS and 45 years for MPPSC exam. So you are not eligible for attending MPPSC/ IAS exams. |

At the age of 43, you are eligible for MPPSC but not for the Upsc conducted Cse examination.
The eligibility for exam is as follows: Any candidate between the age of 21-32 having completed a graduation degree from a recognised Indian University . There is age relaxation up to 5 years for OBC so you are not eligible for Upsc. Coming to MPPSC,the age limit is 21-40 for general candidates with an age relaxation of5 years for the ex service men. So in that case you ate eligible but you only got 2 attempts left there. |
