hi sir i completed dilploma wher i m eligible for AFCAT exam ?

Hi friend,
To appear in AFCAT exam you must fall under some eligibility criteria list. As a diploma candidate, i think you are not eligible for appearing in this exam.

Female Candidates:
Flying Branch:
Age :- 19-23 years as on 1st January 2012
Educational Qualification:- B.E./B/Tech. Degree or Graduate Degree in any subjects with 60% marks secured and passed 10+2 in physics/math’s

Technical Branch:
Age :- 18-28 years as on 1stJanuary 2012.
Educational Qualification:- Aeronautical Engineering(Electronics/Mechanical with 60 % secured marks

Ground Duty Branches:
Age :- 20-27 years as on 1stJanuary 2012.
Educational Qualification:- PG Degree/Bachelor Degree in any subjects with 60% marks secured


Male Candidates

Flying Branch:
Age :- 19-23 years as on 1st January 2012
Educational Qualification:- B.E./B/Tech. Degree or Graduate Degree in any subjects with 60% marks secured and passed 10+2 in physics/math’s

Technical Branch:
Age :- 18-28 years as on 1stJanuary 2012.
Educational Qualification:- Aeronautical Engineering(Electronics/Mechanical with 60 % secured marks

Ground Duty Branches:

Sorry to say that Diploma candidate are not eligible for AFCAT exam.Only B-TECH student are eligible for AFCAT exam.

AFCAT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

GROUND DUTY BRANCHES

AGE:20-27 years of age.
EDUCATION: Post graduation or Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks.

FLYING BRANCHES

AGE:19 years to 23 years.
EDUCATION:B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

TECHNICAL BRANCHES

AGE:18-28 years of age
EDUCATION:Aeronautical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

The date of AFCAT exam is already over for this year so you can try for next year.

If you have not completed your graduation then you are not eligible to apply for the Air force common admission Test. The AFCAT examination is conducted by the Indian Air twice in a year for the selection of candidates as an officer in various branches of Indian Air force like

FLYING BRANCH

GROUND DUTY BRANCH

TECHNICAL BRANCH

Candidates having degree in engineering are only eligible for the flying branch. Candidates of other degree courses are only eligible to apply for the flying branch and the ground duty branch. They are not eligible to apply for the Technical branch.

Candidates who are in pre final year of engineering are also eligible to apply for the Air force common admission test. They can apply through University Entry Scheme. The UES is only for the pre final year students of engineering. Final year students are not eligible for this entry scheme.

Ground Duty Branch
18-28 yrs

Technical Branch
20-23 yrs

My friend AFCAT exam is conducted by IAF..

Eligibility for AFCAT exam:-

1.Flying branch :-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have maths and physics in 12th..

Candidates age should be in between 19-23 years.

2.Technical branch:-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field.

Age should be in between 18-28 years.

3.Ground duty branch:-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.

Age should be in between 20-27 years.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill..

As you have done diploma then wright now you are not eligible , you first go for BE/B.tech course after which you can apply for AFCAT exam.

Only Diploma holders are not eligible for AFCAT.

Only graduates or final year in graduation students can apply.

If you are a diploma holder only and have not done graduation then sorry to inform, but you can not apply.

The courses for which one can apply are:

-Flying Branch
-Technical Branch
-Ground Duty Branches

In case of Flying Branch, your educational qualification should be B.E/B.Tech degree or graduate in any disciplane with the minimum 60% and age should be 19 - 23 yrs.

In case of Technical Branch, the educational qualification is aeronautical engineering with minimum 60%marks and age should be 18 - 28 yrs.

In case of Ground Duty Branch, your educational qualification should be post graduate or bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% and age should be 20 - 27 yrs.

If you does not fulfil the above criteria, you can not apply.

Sir, I am MBA student and going to appear December AFCAT 2013, my birth-date is 15 November 1988, till July 2014 i will be 25 yrs and and SOME FEW MONTHS complete so am I eligible for AFCAT JAN 2013-2014??

To sit for the AFCAT Exam the following eligibility criteria needs to be satisfied. Read on.

AFCAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

AFCAT exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force for the selection of officers in its main three branches as follows:-

1. Flying Branch
2. Technical Branch
3. Ground Duty Branch

Flying Branch:-

• You need a bachelor's degree with not less than 60% of marks. You should have physics and mathematics at 12th standard.

Maximum Leg Length - 120 cms

You can apply for AFCAT Ground Duty Branch if you are a B.A Graduate and it will be your only option to join Air Force as Officer. You are not eligible for Air Force through CDS Examination but you can definitely apply for CDS if you want to join Indian Army.

i have completed my diploma in computer engineering and now in the final year of graduation, but when i fill the afcat form , it only gives option for 10 2 , how am i supposed to fill the form
