I have only 50% in 12th maths. So, I have query regarding the Eligibility for AFCAT So tell me that Am I eligible to appear for AFCAT?

Yes, you are eligible if you had just passed in 12th with Maths and Physics paper and getting 60% above in your B.E/B.Tech course. Detailed eligibility criteria for AFCAT 2014 exam is as follows,

AFCAT 2014 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR FEMALE CANDIDATES:

-> Ground Duty Branch - Candidate should be either PG or Bachelor degree holder with atleast 60% of marks from recognized University. Age limit is 20-23 years for Graduates, 20-25 years for PG and 5 years integrated course holders, 20-26 years for 3 year LLB after Graduation and 20-27 years for M.Ed/Ph.D/CA/ICWA candidates.

-> Flying Branch - Candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech degree with minimum 60% aggregate, age limit - 19 yrs to 23 yrs and height 162.5 cms and correlated weight.

-> Technical Branch - Must have completed Aeronautical Engineering with 60% minimum marks, age limit - 18-28 years and height 152 cms.

AFCAT 2014 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MALE CANDIDATES:

-> Ground Duty Branch - Candidate should be either PG or Bachelor degree holder with atleast 60% of marks from recognized University. Age limit is 20-23 years for Graduates, 20-25 years for PG and 5 years integrated course holders, 20-26 years for 3 year LLB after Graduation and 20-27 years for M.Ed/Ph.D/CA/ICWA candidates.

-> Flying Branch - Candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech degree with minimum 60% aggregate, age limit - 19 yrs to 23 yrs and height 162.5 cms and correlated weight.

-> Technical Branch - Must have completed Aeronautical Engineering with 60% minimum marks, age limit - 18-28 years and height 157.5 cms.

AFCAT 2014 ONLINE REGISTRATION DETAILS:

AFCAT 2014 online registration have already started from 14th December 2014 - 12the January 2014 which will be the last date for submission. Follow the steps mentioned below to register yourself for the AFCAT 2014 exam,

STEP 1: CLICK HERE!! to go to the Indian Air Force Login page.

STEP 2: Select "New Candidate" option -> Register yourself with a new account by giving the personal details.

STEP 3: Wait for 1-2 mins to get a mail to your personal email account which you have given during the registration. Check spam box if you have not received after 5 mins.

STEP 4: Follow each instruction provided in the mail and use the User ID/Password which got generated and given in the mail for candidate login and register for the AFCAT 2014 exam.

To apply for the AFCAT exam , your percentage or Marks in 12th are not important.

* Note that , to apply for the afcat exam , one shouldhave completed Graduation from a recognised university . So , if you have completed Graduation , then you can apply for the afcat exam .

Afcat stands for Airforce common admission test.

The exam includes 3 branches. Namely ,
1) Technical branch
2) Flying branch
3) Ground duty branch

To join in Techncial branch ,age shouldbe in between 18-28 years only
To join in Flying branch , age shouldbe in between 19-23 years only
To join in Ground duty branch , age shouldbe in between 20-23 years only.
