Some institutes may consider this score. But those won't be from the list of the top institutes in the country. It is advisable to appear for the CAT again and secure a higher grade. You should work hard for the same. You need to be meticulous and must solve as many papers as possible.

There are many college in India who can give you admission but according to me you must prepare for the upcoming CAT exams because the colleges that will give you admission in there college may ask you for donation and also they would not be having better placements.

So, you must prepare for the upcoming CAT exams.

Good day....

Hi friend,
Yes you are eligible for studying MBA from any good colleges. But you might not get better colleges as you have thought. You will get some private colleges.
You will get admission in the pune's most of private colleges.
Actually you will get some selected fields in the MBA not all. But even you will managed to get admission.
Anyway you must have to select your field of interest which you want to study in MBA and then search for good colleges.
Good luck!~!!!!

Post Re: Am I eligible for any college with 68 score in CAT?

Well friend,

Congrats for getting 68 score in CAT.
Below is some approx calculation,
based on which percentiles are to be found

For example
if you score is 58.25 then your percentile would be
98.00 + [(58.25 - 55)/(62 - 55) * 1] = 98.46

But your score is 68 then your percentile would be
99.00 + [(68 - 62)/(75 - 62) * 0.9] = 99.42
  • 97+ All India top 5 or 6. 100%
  • 75+ - 97 99.90% to 99.99%
  • 62+ - 75 99.00% to 99.90% (yours in this level)
  • 55+ - 62 98.00% to 99.00%

Below are the colleges admitting guy/girls with respected percentile
And 99.42 is very good percentile, you will definitely get some good IIM.
  • IIMA - 99.3 overall (sectionals marginally higher than IIMC)
  • IIMK - 98 overall with 92 sectionals
  • IIMB - somewhere around 95
  • IIML - somewhere around 97
  • IIMC - 98.96 overall (sectionals around 95 each)
  • IIMI - 98 overall with sectionals 80 called top 1500 odd students satisfying this criteria
  • IMT-Ghaziabab - Around 96 overall
  • IIMS - 80% marks in graduation (85 percentile overall with atleast 80 percentile in each section - not very sure!)
  • MDI (PGPM) - 97 overall with 80 sectionals
  • NITIE - 98.2 overall with sectionals 80
  • SPJAIN - Profile based (Everyone needs to score at least 85 percentile in CAT)
  • IMI (PGDM) - 96 overall sectionals 50

This was according to 2009 cut off list
