Re: Am I eligible to appear for civils exam during my 3rd year of MBBS?
Dear Friend,
The Civil Services Exam is the most prestigious and the toughest examination conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission. Almost every candidate keeps a dream in mind that if he/she can crack the Civil Services Examination. Through the civil services exam , you can join any of the following : * Indian Administrative Services * Indian Police Services * Indian Foreign Services * Indian Economic Services The UPSC conducts the Civil Services Exam in three stages namely : 1) Preliminary Examination 2) MAINS Examination 3) Personal Interview Test The Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services Exam are : * The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized university. * Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible. * The age of the candidate must lie in between 21-30 yrs if you belong to General category. * A relaxation of 3 yrs in upper age is given to OBC Category whereas SC/ST Candidates get 5 years of relaxation in upper age. * The candidates must have Indian Nationality. Since you are in the 3rd year of MBBS , which means that neither you have completed graduation nor you are in the final year. So , from this sense, you are currently not eligible to appear in the civil services exam. |
