AFCAT
Yes, Prashanth, you can apply for the AFCAT exam,but you should have 60% aggregate on all the subjects put together with no back logs.(Pre final year can apply). >> Your result must be declared at the time of testing and also you should be able to produce the provisional and degree certificate latest by June 15 2014. Educational Qualification:- Flying Branch: You need to complete graduation with not less than 60% of marks from a recognized university. The acronym for AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test. Yes, you are eligible for AFCAT examination. AFCAT examination is conducted for the three wings:- * Technical Branch. * Flying Branch. * Ground Duty Branch. AFCAT examination, selection procedure:- pattern:- The eligibility criteria required for the AFCAT examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation with 60% marks from any approved college or university. * Age limit:- 18-28 yrs for Technical Branch. 19-23 yrs for Flying Branch. 20-27 yrs for Ground Duty Branch. AFCAT or air force common admission test. AFCAT eligibility criteria : there is different branches. 1.ground duty branches 2.flying branch 3.technical branch ground duty branch : the candidates who wish to apply for this should between 20 - 27 yrs and the candidates have the pg or bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60%. flying branch : the applicant should have a minimum 19 - 23 yrs.the candidate must have the B.E/B.Tech degree or graduate in any discipline with the minimum 60%. Technical branch : for this the candidate should have 18 - 28 yrs and should have done aeronautical engineering with minimum 60%marks. All the best................. |

ELIGIBILITY-: FLYING branch-: The candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech in any discipline with minimum of 60% aggregrate marks. Age-> 19 to 23 years. Height-> 162.5 Cms. TECHNICAL branch-: The candidate must be a B.E/B.Tech holder in Aeronautical Engineering of Mechanical or Electronics. Age-> 18 to 28 years of age. Height-> Men-> 157.5 Cms. Women-> 152 Cms. Ground Duty branch-: The candidate should have the following educational qualifications for the various sections under the Ground Duty branch, Administration & Logistics-> Graduate with 60% marks or PG degree 50% marks in aggregrate in any discipline. Accounts-> Bachelor's degree in Commerce with 60% of marks or Post Graduate in Commerce/CA/ICWA with 50% of marks in aggregrate. Education-> Post Graduate degree in any discipline with 50% of marks in aggregrate. Age-> Graduate-> 20 to 23 years. Post Graduates-> 20 to 25 years. Height-> Men-> 157.5 Cms. Women-> 152 Cms.
